Scholarship Connect is a UK/USA sports scholarship consultancy. Our team are experts in helping you determine athletic and academic ability to place you on a scholarship in the USA.
We have taken extensive knowledge and formed a business around quality, not quantity. Today, we now partner with many college and university institutions across America in placing talented soccer players in NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA leagues.
We now operate a core team here in the UK and a remote team in the USA of highly skilled coaches, talent scouts, marketing specialists and admin assistants to help all of our players on their journey.
Background
We started our journey back in 2003 when our founder Andrew Muxworthy met the late Shaun Pendleton, Head Coach at Lynn University. Shaun provided the foundations and introduced us to the world of collegiate soccer. We started the journey by operating a voluntary service, helping athletes gain soccer scholarships across the USA. During the last 19 years, we have been fortunate to build excellent relationships with coaches and universities. This has allowed us to travel extensively east to west, north to south across the United States. We have visited over 150 campuses, assisting many great young people in helping them define their college experiences.
Our success and growth directly result from a core team of experienced individuals and personal relationships with college programs. We are not just another talent scouting agency. We look to work personally with every athlete to ensure their journey is the best it can be.
What we do?
We are a talent evaluation consultancy service (“scouting” and support service) that bring prospective Student-Athletes to the attention of recruiting coaches. Coaches from prospective colleges/universities are invited to view our current roster of players. Our team will then facilitate the introduction by sending player profiles, academic / athletic records and contact information to begin the scouting process.
Identify
We identify athletes with a talent in their chosen sport and match them with a college suited to them.
Support
Throughout an athletes journey we offer a significant amount of support. We go over and above for you!
Educate
We ensure athletes are fully aware of the commitment and journey they will experience.

On average there are sadly 18 suicides in the UK every day. If You Care Share is a suicide prevention charity that provide a range of services including prevention, intervention and supporting those bereaved by suicide.
Charlie Hannam - Online Coach
Charlie is our strength and conditioning coach. He trains our student-athletes for playing in the US conferences where the athleticism required going into competitive seasons is very different to the UK. He also works specifically on sports injury prevention in US collegiate soccer, based on our statistical research. Charlie is must for all clients, even those with UK college supported S&C.
