Watt graduated from Lees-McRae College North Carolina and was positioned second for the programs all-time career ranking for goals assists. He also ranked 6th overall for assists per game. Watt was placed 2nd Nationally in the NCAA D2 log for assists in his senior year. He led the Conference Carolinas in the same category. Watt secured Conference, South-East Region and NCCSIA honours and Academic Honors from the college. He is now Director of Coaching at Asheville Shield Football Club, where he has an excellent reputation.
